It was after painting a portrait of Ganja the cat, that got lots of people asking for one with their feline companion.
I love cats, Iām quite a bit of a crazy cat lady and have 2 of my own: Matthias, a wise sociable chubby black panther, and Ariel, like the little mermaid, a shy, but affectionate younger tortoiseshell.
So it makes sense that I very much love painting cats.
Aside from these particular fur-children, I love painting human portraits and abstracts.
I like to experiment and explore topics, emotions, colors, techniques and create for the joy of it, as well for its therapeutic effects.
I paint my feelings and find inspiration in my dreams ā I started a series called When the night falls.
Brushstrokes on a canvas guide me to be vulnerable and reveal my intimate thoughts and deepest self.
Painting is just another way of keeping a diary. Picasso
